Here are a few questions that our clients have often asked, if the answer you require is not here, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

I HAVE OUTSTANDING FINANCE ON MY VAN, WILL YOU BUY MY VAN?

Yes, we will buy your van, although the finance must be settled. You have two options available;

• We can settle the finance on your behalf, you will need to obtain a settlement figure directly from your finance company, we will require written confirmation of the outstanding amount from them, data protection laws require that you obtain this. We can then deduct the outstanding amount from the valuation of your van and pay the balance to the finance company.
• You can settle the outstanding balance directly with your finance company, we will need written confirmation of this from your finance company when we collect the van.

Please note; if you owe more than the valuation of the van, the difference needs to be settled prior to us collecting the van and we will require written confirmation of this from your finance company.

I DO NOT HAVE A V5  (LOGBOOK) – WILL YOU BUY MY VAN?

To enable us to buy your van, we must have the V5 and it needs to be registered in your name.
You can apply for a new V5 from the DVLA by completing and sending a V62 to them which you can obtain from the post office or online at www.direct.gov.uk

If the van is already registered in your name DVLA have a fast track system available.

I NEED TO SELL MY VAN FAST, HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU BUY MY VAN?

We offer a FAST TRACK service where an offer for your van can be made within one hour and we can usually complete a purchase on the day that you call us and always have funds available. We will pay for your van at the time of collection, so you do not have to wait for payment.

HOW WILL I BE PAID?

We pay by either Bankers draft or secure money transfer directly into your bank account – which you can verify before you release your van to us.

WHY NOT CASH?

To pay cash for vehicles would mean we would need to carry large amounts around  - both us and ultimately you and we feel that is both unsafe and unwise. Call us and we will discuss the best method of payment for you.

MY LOCAL VAN CENTRE HAS OFFERED MORE IF I PART EXCHANGE MY VAN – CAN YOU MATCH IT?

A dealer may offer what appears to be an excellent price for your van – but he may have a large profit margin in the vehicle he is trying to sell you and can give you some of that margin to make the deal more appealing to you.

Call us and tell us what you have been offered – we want to buy your van and are not trying to sell you something as part of the deal. We have no ulterior motive.

The most important thing to take into account, is what is the real cost to you to change vehicles. It may be that by becoming a cash buyer by selling your van to us, you may be able to find a similar vehicle to the one you were considering, cheaper elsewhere – thus making the cost to you to change, less
